What if I don't believe this bullshit?Baby...
May I ask you something?
If I told you of my secrets, my worries
wouldn't you listen, wouldn't you help me?
If I hugged you tight and never wanted to let go
would you seriously look at me with disgrace?
If I kissed you
would you r
Your LightI feel the warmth of the light
Living in my heart
Only you could give off such heat.
Vowing to do all I can do
Every second of every day
Your happiness is what I desire.
On this night I ask one thing of you
Understand, my dear, I love you
She left for heavenWe lost an amazing woman this week
A beautiful angel that was taken back to heaven
And from our eyes we shed our tears, for a woman we hold dear
That we will never forget, because in our heart she’ll always stay
A great woman who is proud of her son
That from heaven she yells “That’s my one”
The one she will always watch over and protect from the dark
Because she is sweet, kind, and always full of love
So please do not fear the obstacles that you’ll take
You have people who care for you and your mothers embrace
She will hold you tight and from heaven she’ll say
“I love you so much and with you forever I’ll stay”
The LieIt hides alone, buried, concealed
Mistrust, betrayal, never to be healed
A blemish on the human soul
Colder than ice and blacker than coal
The threads it weaves stay locked in place
Hiding the truth from many a face
And as it continues to defy
The truth is revealed
As is the lie
I'm ScaredI'm scared to love someone.
I'm scared of what might happen.
I don't want to let someone in,
Because I don't know what might happen.
I'm afraid, and I shouldn't be.
I shouldn't be afraid of something
Like this, but I am.
I know what love is,
I have seen it,
And I have felt it,
But I'm still scared.
Maybe I'm scared
Because of what happened last time.
It didn't work out,
And it didn't turn out that great.
I was miserable,
Because I didn't know
What I was supposed to do.
I didn't know how to love someone,
Maybe because I didn't know
How to love myself.
Dying to be BeautifulDying to be beautiful
How far does it go
How deep can it get
How dark can it pull
When nothing holds you together
But layers of makeup on sunken cheeks
And your bones so frail they
Shatter from sobbing
Your heart so weak
You cannot risk loving
Your world so painful,
Through gray misty eyes
From the outline of ribs
To the protruding bone spines
I clearly see, you’re dying
Yes, dying to be beautiful
I wish somebody would tell you
The secret of beauty
It comes from the heart
The inside out
Not the outside in
But still how far will you go
How deep will you get
How dark will you go
Until you realize
Just to beautiful
MemoriumSoldier, you're no more to fight.
Sleep softly in the ground.
Never more to tremble or quake
Beneath the awful sound
And angel songs
Within the dismal cloud.
Soldier, rest forever now,
You've made your people proud.
Soldier sent so far away,
Would not be home again.
Suffered every day
Amongst the horror and the pain
Of loss surrounding,
Fire raining down
To scorch and sear.
Soldier, slumber peacefully,
There's nothing now to fear.
To those who rule, on high, the world,
Ever commanding death.
Trampling over all the land
To feed your senseless wealth.
Ask the crimson petals
That have flourished from demise,
If your power is worth
Even the earth
In which your soldier lies.
LionessShe’s not a weakling
Nor a coward
No broken heart
Not even soured
She’s a Lioness
Sure footed, powerful
She walks as queen
Despite dismantled face
A mark unforeseen
Experience, commands respect
She’s a Lioness
Wild and free, says don’t mess with me
She’s not a killer
Nor a flower
Her stride, it’s a thriller
Like an action film
She’s a Lioness
Keeping you all on the tips of your toes
The mighty Lioness
You’re comfortable with her
She makes you feel safe
She stands mind tall as a balsamic fir
She looks out for the great and the small
She’s a lioness
So beautiful and most strong of all
She’s not afraid to fight
Nor afraid to stand down
And if you’re lost and out of her sight
She’ll stop what she’s doing make sure you’re alright
She’s a Lioness
Brave and graceful over the safari of life
The Lioness in the midst of strife
A Deal with the DemonShe lay beneath the sun's searing flare
Her blood dripping
Into the silver river
Running down her cheeks
And through her hair
"Goodbye," she told the world
Once, this girl was a wealthy princess
Once she was too precious and priceless
Once, she wore the most beautiful dresses
She danced in balls of golden floors
They say the princess made a horrible deal
A deal with the demon of the gold and steel
They say the demon would give her a wheel
Of gold and diamonds if she let him "heal"
Her poor tired soul
The princess agreed for the wheel was tempting
In a matter of seconds her soul was empty
And the demon took over and was now attempting
To rule the whole kingdom and run it his way
The kingdom was corrupted, turned upside-down
And the king was murdered right beneath his crown
And the farmer was homeless and the doctor a clown
And the people rebelling, destroying each town
So they hunted the princess then left her to drown
Now the demon believed that his princess was useless
So he left her
Stop Telling LiesStop telling lies
Does it give you a kick?
To see me suffer?
You make me sick.
You dumb little fucker.
You watch on the sidelines,
As two sides of the family fight.
You smirk like your superior.
You do all this out of spite?
I don't believe that bullshit.
I think you're a bitch.
I just want to see you shut up for once.
Tearing out your vocal-chords would be rich.
I hate everything about you,
I hate that at times I still love you.
Because then I see,
The second side of you.
The side that laughs at misery,
Laughs at pain.
Laughs at me when I cry,
I can never see you the same.
I want you to cry.
I want you to hurt.
I want you to scream.
To be buried in the dirt.
But maybe I'd not hate you,
If you could see it through my eyes.
So I just have one thing to ask of you:
Stop telling lies.
How It Began"God, your two o'clock is here."
"I have a two o'clock?"
"He's been here since 7:45. I figured it's only polite to... sir."
God sighed. "Fine, send him in."
While He waited God cleared His desk of papers and blueprints; no need for outsiders to see His plans. Soon enough the door to His office opened and God stood, smiled, held out a hand towards one of the two visitor's chairs.
"God! Great stuff you're doing in sector 2-7-0! Great stuff!"
The man's hands were clammy, his handshake limp. Rumpled suit, porkpie hat, briefcase... oh Jes-- oh dear, a salesman. God's smile slipped a little but He soldiered on gamely. With luck He could shoo the poor guy away in a few minutes.
"So, what can I do for you?"
The man sat, briefcase across his knees. "Sector 2-7-0! Everyone's talking about it! What do you call it? Man and merman?"
"Man and woman, actually. And thanks. But we're pretty busy around here, and..."
"Oh! Right! No time for the wicked, eh?" The salesman winked and popped his briefcase,
